Merna Khamis

Hello everyone, I'm Merna, a first-year graduate student at Virginia Tech in the DC area, pursuing a Master of Engineering in Computer Science with a focus on Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, with a background in leadership and a passion for connecting with people. I was a Hokie for my undergraduate years, too! So, I bring a rich background from a diverse community, ready to infuse that Blacksburg Hokie spirit into our campus experience. It is important to ensure that every student has access to the resources and support they need to feel comfortable on campus and to fill the gap between staff and students. So, I am working toward creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered, and making the campus experience the best it can be.
